Brigadier General Christianah A. Thomas (Retired)
A highly accomplished retired military officer, healthcare professional, and gender advocate with over 35 years of experience in the Nigerian Army Medical Corps and Defence Headquarters. Renowned for her leadership in public health, peacebuilding, gender mainstreaming, and human security. She served as the Representative of the Chief of Defence Staff on Gender Affairs and played a key role in developing Nigeria's first military gender policy. She is the founder/CEO of several organizations including FENCADAH Care Foundation and Wellness Centre. Brig. Gen. Thomas holds a PhD in Peace and Conflict Resolution, multiple advanced degrees in health and humanitarian studies, and has received numerous national and international honors for her service.
